If you’re an interior designer, you know how important it is to have a strong eye for visuals and substance. After all, you need to ensure the space you’re working with is both functional and beautiful.

The same thing also applies to your professional website. You can use the visual nature of the internet to your advantage to bring prospective clients and new business to your table.

However, web design is not easy, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the process. As an interior designer with zero coding experience, I suggest you use a template.

In this article, I’ve handpicked 19 best interior designing websites templates you can easily tweak, whether web design is your forte or not. Let’s take a look at each of them.

1. Atem — Webflow

Atem is a Webflow template geared for architecture and interior design businesses. You can use it to create an elegant one-page or multi-page website to introduce your work and services to the world.

It comes with multiple layouts and 4 homepage variants you can import immediately. Other than that, some features worth highlighting from this theme are:

  • Built-in CMS: the integrated content management system feature allows you to add a blog function to a static webpage easily.
  • Customization options: the template editor’s interface is similar to Photoshop, which gives you a wide range of customization options without the need for coding.

The theme’s single-use license costs $79.

Although you can do more with this template, the learning curve is steeper. So I recommend this one for interior designers with more experience in web design.

The abundance of features doesn’t come cheap. Webflow has two main plans: the Site Plan and the Account Plan. Site plans are required if you want web hosting, while account plans are reserved for editing.

The free version only allows you to edit two projects, and you have to pay at least $12/mo for the Basic site plan if you want to publish your website live.

If you just want to use Webflow for editing and want to export the template later, you can. But, it costs $16/mo.

So if you feel confident in your web design ability and money to spare, consider this platform.

2. Gust — Zyro

The first entry on this list is Gust, a free template for Zyro’s website builder. Its clean and minimalist aesthetic is perfect for interior design portfolios and blogs.

It has a lot of white space that’s easy on the eyes, which you can use to make the colors in your design pop. Your website is easier to discover too, as the template is SEO-friendly and responsive.

Aside from the design, here are the two main reasons I’d picked Zyro:

  • Super beginner-friendly: customization is a breeze thanks to the web editor that comes with it. Unlike HTML templates that require you to have at least basic coding knowledge, you can just drag and drop the elements you need. The grid system helps to keep everything proportional and picture-perfect no matter how much you tinker with it.
  • Affordable: Zyro’s pricing starts at $1.99/mo, which is really cost-effective. With it, you can get 3 GB of bandwidth, 1 GB of storage, and use your own domain. Plus, you can scale anytime once your web traffic grows.

As you can see, it’s a great beginner option for interior designers who are on a budget.

The only downside of this one, like most other web builder templates, is that it’s exclusive to Zyro. That means you can’t export it to other platforms like WordPress.

If that isn’t quite what you’re looking for, maybe the next one fits the bill.

3. Gracious Dwelling — Wix

Next on this list is Gracious Dwelling, a Wix interior website template. What I found striking about this template is the minimalist grid layout. With it, you can make your website’s design less cluttered and quicker to navigate.

There are premade sections you can use to showcase your portfolio and introduce your firms. It also comes with ready-to-use booking and contact pages. Other remarkable features include:

  • User-friendliness: similar to Zyro, Wix also has a drag-and-drop builder that’ll help you create a stunning website fast. Setting up the template only requires a few clicks.
  • Customization options: you can add plenty of page elements for free, ranging from an online store to a blog.

Price-wise, it’s a bit more expensive than Zyro, although you can use it for free if you don’t mind the limitations.

The cheapest plan costs you $14/mo. With it, you’ll get 3 GB of storage and a free custom domain.

4. Dream Home — WordPress

Dream Home is one of the best interior design website templates for WordPress. It’s made using Bootstrap, a well-known framework that can speed up development. As such, it’s SEO-friendly and mobile-ready right out of the box.

It sports a combination of black, red, and white for its color scheme that creates a modern look. Some features of this template I found worth highlighting are:

  • WPML-compatible: you can use this template with the WPML plugin without trouble, allowing you to make your website accessible in multiple languages.
  • SEO and mobile-friendly: this template is optimized for search engines and can adapt well across screens. On top of that, it uses web-safe fonts that are compatible across most computers.

However, customizing a WordPress template requires more advanced skills. This theme can speed up development with features such as the option to use the Elementor Page Builder, but these cost more.

While you can buy the base template for $75, all the extra perks can add up to a staggering amount of $1,250.

5. Interior — WordPress

Didn’t find your match yet? Consider trying Interior, another WordPress theme for interior designers and agencies alike.

It’s a multi-page template with a gorgeous grid-style header that can be used to create a portfolio website.

Visitors can navigate through different sections of the site by clicking on the pictures. There’s also a separate gallery page if you need to display more projects.

Some notable highlights include:

  • SEO-friendly and responsive: much like the previous template, this theme is also built using Bootstrap on top of Cherry Framework, aiding developers to work more efficiently.
  • WPML-ready: if you want to create a multilingual WordPress interior website but don’t like the previous theme, consider this one.

The base price of this template is also $75. Similarly, it comes with optional services and products that cost more.

For instance, you can pay an additional $249 to get a ready-to-use website. All in all, it’s suitable for those with a budget but no time to spare for web design.

6. Interra — WordPress

Interra is one of the best premium WordPress themes for interior design portfolios and blogs. The design is stylish, minimalistic, and perfect for a website aiming to achieve a contemporary look.

The theme is also optimized for SEO and is responsive across multiple devices.

It has various demo content you can install in just one click, speeding up development. Other things I like about this template are:

  • Well-documented: it has extensive documentation to help developers out in their work.
  • Free image assets: every purchase comes with the bonus addition of a high-quality stock image pack. You can spend more time on developing your website instead of dealing with copyright hassle.

You can unlock what Interra has to offer with $75. If you need more boosts like essential plugins, you need to pay more. In total, it can cost you $1,120 to access all of the boosts offered.

7. Ratio — WordPress

If you’re looking to build a WordPress landing page for architecture and interior design agencies, Ratio might be the template you need.

It’s stylish, responsive, and has a lot of premade sections that can help you out with some of your work.

What I found great about this theme is:

  • Loads of customization options: it has 15 homepage types, over 25 portfolio styles, and plenty of other layout variations. On top of that, it also has more than 40 shortcodes to help you add new functions without coding them yourself.
  • WooCommerce-compatible: you can easily add an eCommerce section to your website thanks to the WooCommerce plugin. A perfect feature for those who want to sell furniture or home decor accessories.

The regular license costs $69, with an additional price of $21.38 if you want to extend support for up to one year.

8. Cozy — WordPress

Cozy is a WordPress template that can make your interior design website stand out. There are 12 homepages and demo variants you can choose from. Simply import the pre-designed pages in one click and it’s all set up for customization.

I particularly like the homepage demo in the picture. It has an interactive tooltip feature to introduce the products you use in your work and a slider. Some other notable features are:

  • Beginner-friendly admin panel: it’s comprehensive but still intuitive to use, making it easier for you to change its settings and switch between demos.
  • Free plugins: you’ll get the WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution plugins with your purchase. It saves you $45 and $29 on each. Both of these plugins are useful for creating rich, dynamic pages faster.

If you’re interested, you can unlock what Cozy has in store with $69. You’ll get support for up to six months, which can be extended up to a year with $21.38.

9. Interior Lite — WordPress

Looking for a free WordPress theme to build your interior design website? Consider Interior Lite, a modern-looking template with a dark color scheme.

While the features are limited, it’s customizable and adaptable across different screens. It has premade sections for About Us, Testimonials, and Service pages. Some highlight-worthy features include:

  • WooCommerce-compatible: meaning you can use it to build an online interior design shop, making this theme ideal for entrepreneurs.
  • Translation-ready: Interior Lite caters to multilingual websites. There are .PO files you can edit to localize your website to another language.

If you want more advanced features like color selections, shortcodes, and other customization options, you can buy the premium for $39.

10. Lz Interior Decor Lite — WordPress

Lz Interior Decor Lite is a stylish, attractive, and modern WordPress theme for everyone working in the architecture and design industry. Whether you’re an interior designer, a furniture store owner, or an architect, you can benefit from the features offered.

Some good reasons to consider this template:

  • User-friendly: the design is made with style in mind, putting forth a stunning combination of colors and typography. It makes the user experience more engaging and intuitive.

The best part? You can download this theme for free. However, if you need more options for customization like color variants and custom images, you can upgrade for $39.

11. Arch — HTML

If you’re confident in your coding ability, you might want to build an HTML website instead. Arch provides a good starting point.

It’s an architecture template but can be used by interior design agencies, portfolios, and professional websites as well.

Modern and elegant, Arch can make your web stand out from the crowd.

As it’s built on the Bootstrap framework, the code is responsive and SEO-friendly from the get-go. This greatly speeds up development. Some notable features that I like:

  • Header transition: when you click the toggle, the slider reveals another header image using a cool animation.
  • Sticky navigation bar: the menu sticks in one place even if you scroll down. It makes the sections of your website easier to navigate.

If you like Arch, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s free. No strings attached whatsoever.

12. Loaft — HTML

Building an HTML website for an interior design agency? Consider Loaft. This free template is created with the best design practices in mind, so it looks stylish, minimalistic, and clean.

Here’s what I like from this template:

  • Design: the first thing you’ll notice is the grid placement of pictures and texts on the homepage. Your visitors can scroll down to find information about your work easily. They can also maneuver through sections either from the clickable arrow or the off-canvas sidebar.
  • Great value: it’s free and looks appealing to be used as-is. Most importantly, it packs plenty of features like hover effects, fact counters, demo images, and more.

Loaft is adaptable across all screens and compatible with most browsers.

13. Contra — HTML

Contra is a premium template for interior designers looking to establish their online presence. It comes with everything you’d expect from an interior design website, whether it’s a portfolio page or a home decor store.

Notable strengths of this pick include:

14. Arcton — HTML

Arcton is made with interior design and architecture professionals in mind. As such, it’s fully armed with all the necessary features you need.

On top of possessing a stylish, retina-ready design that’s responsive and SEO-optimized, it also has:

  • Impressive effects and animations: two notable examples being the parallax animation and the hover effect.
  • eCommerce functions: by default, Arcton already has a cart feature, shop and product pages, as well as a checkout area.

Interested in giving this template a whirl? You can purchase it with $17 and you’ll be supported up to 6 months. If you wish to extend assistance to 12 months, it’ll cost you an extra $4.88.

15. Spacewood — HTML

Whether you’re looking to build an interior design portfolio or a business website, you can rely on Spacewood to do the job. This HTML template comes with a dark layout that looks sleek and sophisticated.

It comes with a functional contact page that’s equipped with Google Maps and a submission form. Other than that, here’s what you can expect from Spacewood:

  • Minimalistic design: instead of crowding the page, it has a menu overlay that can be accessed from the top corner button. That way, the menus don’t interfere with your project’s visuals.
  • Homepage slider: I really like that the slider can be moved up and down instead of side to side, much like the film reel of a camera.

Using this theme costs $19. You’ll get one year support and template updates with that.

16. Harbor — HTML

Harbor is an HTML interior design website template for individuals and agencies alike. The design is clean, SEO-friendly, and optimized for mobile.

What I found especially striking about this template is:

  • Lazy loading: the template implements an on-scroll loading feature that can improve your visitors’ user experience. It also saves your website’s resources.
  • Sliding header: includes a huge call to action box that draws attention. You can use this section to display your best works front and center.

Similar to the previous theme, you can get this template and one-year support for $19.

17. Sofa — HTML

If you want to run a furniture website, Sofa fits your needs. It sports a clean and minimalistic design with a white, grey, and black color combination.

As expected from a visual-heavy website, the theme has multiple gallery styles to showcase your products.

This multipage HTML template comes with a lot of premade sections, ranging from homepages to blogs. You can create a more immersive-looking website with the transition and animation effects too. Other than that, this template offers:

Sofa’s single website license costs $75. Want to use this template for WordPress instead? You can opt for a $269 upgrade.

Alternatively, you can choose from other offers provided if you have the budget and want to make your work easier.

18. Molder — HTML

Next on this list is Molder, another HTML template you can use to introduce your interior design business. The first thing you’ll notice about this theme is the distinctive design.

Mobile-friendly and coded up to standards, Molder also comes with:

  • A wide variety of layouts and pages: there are over 40-page variants to choose from, with lots of header and footer styles. Need to build a form? Molder has your back, regardless of whether it’s for login pages or newsletters.
  • Rich UI assets: the kit’s vast amount of UI elements can make your web interface more interactive and dynamic.

You can buy this theme for $75. There are offers that’ll help you customize this template faster and easier but more expensive. For example, there’s a drag-and-drop HTML builder available for an additional $99.

19. Prestige — HTML

Prestige is an HTML template for interior design studio websites. It’s stylish, reliable, and packs plenty of useful features. Users of this theme have access to over 20 handy premade pages, with free high-quality photos at your disposal.

Having that many ready-use assets speeds up development significantly, more so because all the layouts are built on the responsive Bootstrap 4. The design is optimized for SEO and coded using the best practices.

Need to stay connected with your audience? No worries, this theme also got you covered with its functional newsletter and subscription forms out of the box.

The other main selling points of Prestige are:

  • Huge library of UI elements: you’ll have more choices when it comes to customizing the interface of your website.
  • Various animation effects: you can create a more dynamic-looking website with cool animations and transitions, such as the immersive parallax effect.

You can afford what Prestige has to offer with $75. However, if you want additional boosts like having a drag-and-drop editor, you need to pay more. In total, all offers can be purchased at $1,120.

My verdict

That concludes my selections of the best interior design templates.

It’s tough to settle with just one because they’re all great in my opinion.

However, I do favor Zyro because it’s the most friendly option for a beginner. Plus, I don’t have to burn a hole in my wallet just to use their templates and services.

But if Zyro is not up to your expectations, I hope you found the other alternatives to be helpful for the next time you need to create a bespoke interior design website.
